The suffix “Air” on the BÜCHEL mudguards stands for an integrated hollow chamber that can be used as a cable tunnel. It is closed with a flexible plastic strip so that no dirt can get into the cavity and the cables are secured against falling out. At the same time, this hollow chamber gives the mudguard extremely high torsional rigidity. With a corresponding carrier, which is also available from BÜCHEL, the mudguard can be used as a self-supporting system without further struts, giving the bike a tidy look.
